David Parkes:Story of Healing & Conversion

David Parkes was a professional Irish footballer when he got sick with Crohn’s disease. Doctors told him he had two months to live. He came to the Catholic Marian shrine of Medjugorje in 1989 where he was prayed over by Fr. Peter Mary Rookey. After the miracle of a physical healing came a spiritual one. David went on to build a career in the world of Christian music. Since 2001, he lives part of the year in Medjugorje working for Marian Pilgrimages.
